As per reports, Nita Ambani has her morning tea in an exquisite teacup from Japan’s oldest and most prestigious crockery brand – Noritake. The renowned brand has an exclusive 50-piece porcelain cup set that is reportedly priced at Rs 1.5 crore. Which means that the cost of one cup is around Rs 3 lakhs. These cups are uniquely designed and have elegant gold and platinum detailing on the rims. The design is only available through Noritake.
Known for her fine taste and eye for detail, Nita Ambani is said to have once taken her jet to Sri Lanka to specifically shop for the kitchenware. She is said to have purchased around 25,000 pieces from the Japanese brand Noritake. The brand was reportedly established 106 years ago and is now known across the world for its crockery. At times, the crockery comes adorned with 22-carat gold and platinum accents.
Back in 2010, The Economic Times reported that 50-piece dinner set adorned with 22-carat gold and platinum trimmings by the brand costs around $300 to $500.
